Joint patent disclosed

We filed a patent application with our industrial partner SEEPEX GmbH. The patent application was disclosed by the end of last year and proposes the idea to monitor joints of a progressing cavity pumps with easy-to-acquire process variables.

This way, process downtimes due to joint failure can be reduced.

Meanwhile, the proposed approach was implemented on embedded hardware and tested on a laboratory test bench and under real-world conditions.

The associated project was supported by funds from the Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Innovation, Digitalisierung und Energie des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen
